Crisis Assistance Program


It is the policy of Osage Nation to provide financial assistance to all enrolled members, regardless of residency, struggling in extraordinary times of a crisis. Crisis Assistance is available once per fiscal year to applicants that are able to document an emergency/crisis warranting assistance. Situations should be short-term or temporary in nature, and not chronic.

Program Information

Assistance is available to adress the following crisis situations:

  1. Homelessness or Threat of Homelessness
  2. Unsafe / Unsanitary Living Conditions
  3. Fire / Natural Disaster
  4. Major Car Repair
  5. Family Emergency

Eligibility Requirements

The requirements to be eligible to receive crisis assistance include(s):

  1. Completed Crisis Assistance application with support documentation
  2. Current and valid enrollment with the Osage Nation Membership Department

Application Process

Once an application has been received by the Financial Assistance Department (OFAD), the following steps will occur:
